Should I pay my Virgin Holidays balance?
I would pay the balance. If your trip is cancelled you will then get everything back and not loose your deposit (ABTA rules). If you don’t pay the balance you have breached your contract and will not get the deposit back. Pay the balance then you will be able to contact them to move the booking.
Can I cancel a Virgin holiday?

Sometimes Virgin Holidays increases your deposit amount because they pass on cancellation charges from other suppliers onto you. These unexpected, additional charges are non-refundable as well.

Why was my holiday cancelled with Virgin Holidays?
Holiday was cancelled due to pandemic, initially advised 45 days for refund then told 120 days and still no refund after 120 days no physical was of speaking to anyone at Virgin, Customer Service is as bad as I’ve ever experienced, I am a flygold member and will be closing my account and using another airline for all my travel.
How long do Virgin Holidays refund vouchers last?
Virgin Holidays cancelled this in April and sent us an unrequested voucher. They would not speak to anyone until 3 days before flying. I managed to speak to someone regarding a refund only twice, all other contact has been automated and the refund goal posts have gone from 60 to 90 to 120 days.
Is there extra legroom on Virgin Atlantic flights?
Plus when we come to reserve seats Virgin Holidays have no idea and Virgin Atlantic say we need to speak to Virgin Holidays. Can’t upgrade to extra legroom or delight as they have no idea what they are doing! What a flop, how the mighty have fallen.
