A newbie here. I just want to confirm putting graphite powder into the ignition and wiggling the key about a lot will eventually loosen the steering lock. I bought graphite powder from an art shop and using a very, very small spoon, inserted the powder into the lock. After a couple of tiny spoonfuls I would insert the key and jiggle it about.
