Why is the scroll button on my Mercedes COMAND not working?

Using plastic pry tools separate the two halves of the unit. Around the center of the unit you will be able to see the joint of the two halves of the unit. Again gently and in increments level the two halves apart. Take care not to damage the electrical ribbon which locates between the two halves.
