Not good news as they found that the ABS pump is faulty & to replace this pump is going to be $2.000 + ….. My local Mitsubishi says to me that “Out of good will ” they are going to ask Mitsubishi head office if they will pay for the part & I only pay for labour which is pretty good of them ….

Why does my CJ Lancer say service required?
On my way to work, my 08 CJ Lancer (CVT) suddenly lurched and I lost acceleration. Within a second or two a warning came up and said “SERVICE REQUIRED”. The icon was the stability control/traction control image which lights up in the wet when it kicks in, except now it had the SERVICE REQUIRED message.
