Polaris 1999 Sportsman 500. Had no fire. Replaced stator, pick up coil, Ign coil, plug wire and finally the CDI which got me fire. Ran for a bit and cleaned the carb. Got done & no fire again. Any ideas?

What to do if your Polaris runs out of gas?

Remove the seat. At the front of the air box, you will see a rubber ‘horn’ for the intake. Simply put your hand over the intake horn, sealing it off the best you can, and crank the engine. Usually, within 10 seconds of cranking or so, it will fire. Remove your hand as quickly as it fires up, to prevent flooding the engine.
