I checked a consumer advocate site and realized that I am not the only one with this problem. I read that there is a problem with the Nissan Titan tailpipe falling off, well the problem with this is that it melts the wire harnes that goes to the abs and rear wheel sensors.

I have 2011 Nissan Pathfinder. 4×4 won’t engage. Abs, slip, airbag, check engine, & tire pressure lights are all lit on the dash. I don’t even know where to start with this. My husband is a disabled army vet so he can’t help. Can’t really afford to take to dealership to find the problem.

Yes, this could be your issue. it aids in the speedometer and powertrain control module . if the power train control is not senseing any movement from that wheel it could keep it from engaging the four wheeel drive to avoid possibly burning out the transfer case. Definatley something to check.
