What is a Harpsicle harp?
Harpsicle® Harp We are currently training new staff to shorten our wait time for the future. The Harpsicle® Harp is the first and most basic model in the Harpsicle® Harp line. It does not have levers so it is in the keys of C and Am but can be tuned to play in other keys.
Are Harpsicle harps good?
The Rees Harpsicle Harp [Natural Maple] is a great instrument. It is the most simple of this brand of harp. It doesn’t have any levers, just the harp strings. There are those who say it is a good beginning harp, or a good harp for children, but a person can just pick it up and play it.
Can you add levers to a Harpsicle?
It is possible to add levers to a Sharpsicle™ Harp to upgrade it to a Flatsicle™ or Fullsicle™. Likewise, a Flatsicle™ Harp can always be upgraded into a Fullsicle™.
How much does a Harpsicle cost?
™ Harpsicle® Harps are a flat $575. For other cost, prices vary by country and associated brokerage fees. Taxes, like VAT, will be collected by your country and we have no control over those amounts.
How many strings does a Harpsicle have?

The Grand Harpsicle Harp is the first ever feather weight acoustic/electric lever harp. It has 33 strings, extends two octaves below middle C and weighs no more than an electric guitar – just 10 pounds.
How do you keep a harp in tune?
A new harp will need frequent (ie. daily) tuning for the first few weeks, and even months. As the strings stretch and the soundboard and neck adjust to the tension the harp will maintain its pitch for longer periods. To tune your harp, use an electronic chromatic tuner.

Why does my harp keep going out of tune?
The strings are new and need to be stretched. Also, it will take time for the soundboard to “belly-up”. Typically, on lever harps, you will find that the longer strings, in the lower half of the soundboard, will go out of tune faster than the shorter strings.
