Does LCAD require portfolio?
To apply for admission to LCAD, you must present a portfolio of your best work that demonstrates your strengths, interests and artistic growth. LCAD recognizes that students enter college with diverse artistic backgrounds; therefore, each portfolio is evaluated on an individual specific basis.
How do I submit a portfolio to LCAD?
Submit your Transfer Portfolio to our Transfer Specialist at [email protected] to petition for the transfer of studio art classes. This portfolio is different from the Admissions Portfolio but should include 6-10 examples from each studio class you wish to be considered.
