To transfer your out-of-state driver’s license, you must visit a Pennsylvania driver’s license center . At the driver’s license center, you will be asked to complete a vision screening test and to provide proof of identity and proof of residency.
Where do I go to get my license in PA?
Visit a Driver License Center with:
- The completed DL-180 (PDF)
- The completed DL-180TD (PDF)(if under the age 18).
- Proof of identity, which is listed on reverse side of DL-180 (PDF).
- Two acceptable proofs of residency, listed on reverse side of DL-180 (PDF), if you are 18 years of age or older.
- Your Social Security card.
Is the PennDOT photo license center open in PA?
Open Locations Many of PennDOT’s driver license and photo license centers have reopened. They will follow restrictions on work and social interaction set by Governor Tom Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Can you pay with a check at PennDOT?
All PennDOT’s Driver License Centers will still accept checks or money orders as forms of payment, but no cash. The Riverfront Office Center Customer Counter currently accepts checks, money orders, and cash.
When is the PA driver license center open?
The following Driver License Centers are currently open. Hours of operation at all Driver License Centers listed below will be Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM, and Wednesday and Thursday between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM will be designated times for customers 60 years or older.
