BASECAMP Cafe – NEW for 2021! If skiing to BASECAMP take the Norwegian Road from the base of the Blue Cow T-bar and turn right onto the home trail. The Guthega Inn is open daily from 3pm for apres drinks and small plates and is not open to the general public for lunch, house guests only.

Parking and arrival Guthega Village has overnight car parking for guests. We ask guests to call the Inn when leaving Jindabyne so that we can confirm directions, advise conditions at this end and co-ordinate your over snow pick up. Check-in is from 4pm.

Do I need snow chains to drive to Perisher?

If you’re driving to Perisher from Jindabyne it’s an easy half hour drive in good weather; keep in mind that you’re legally required to carry properly fitting chains in any vehicle other than 4WD’s within the National Park. The National Park entry fee is $29 per day for each vehicle.

Can you ski from Blue Cow to Perisher?

To spend the day in Blue Cow, you can jump on board the Skitube from either Bullocks Flat Terminal or Perisher Valley and arrive at Blue Cow Terminal. From Blue Cow you then have direct access to ride at Guthega! You can also ski to Blue Cow from Perisher via Perisher Express Quad Chair or Interceptor Chair.
