Why are the branches falling off my Willow fence?
This will be exacerbated by exposure to weather and wind. Regular maintenance of the fence, including retying and rebraiding any branches that have come free from their place in the fence, will help to keep the fence structure from significantly degrading over time.
What kind of preservative to use on Willow fencing?
When exposed to weather, these materials will naturally deteriorate over time if left untreated. Preservative treatments, such as linseed oil-based preservatives, help control natural decay and deterioration. Willow should be allowed to dry thoroughly before it is treated with a preservative.
