Why is Doral called Doral?
In 1962, the Kaskel’s dream came true when they opened a hotel and country club that featured the Blue, Red and Par 3 golf courses. They named it Doral – a combination of Doris and Alfred. Once the Country Club was built, guests were transported from the Beach to the Country Club for a day on the golf course.

Is there a dress code at Trump Doral?
Trump National Golf Club does not allow jeans, tee shirts, tank tops, swimwear, cut-offs, warm-up suits, sweatpants, or athletic shorts while using golf or dining facilities. Inappropriately dressed individuals will be asked to change prior to using the facilities.

How much does it cost to play Doral?
The Red and Gold courses cost $250 per round, with the Silver course green fee at $195. Staying at Trump Doral as a hotel guest, however, isn’t particularly outrageous. Rates for a Deluxe Room with a king bed in a 343-square-foot room start at $170 per night. A Premier Suite runs about $400 per night.
