The B0101 code is for the left (drivers side) impact sensor. This sensor is mounted under the radiator support.

My air bag light is on on my 07 Silverado Classic 1500. The first code I got was a B0101 (Discard Electronic Front End Sensor 1) so I replaced the driver side with a new sensor from Napa. That did not clear the air bag light but did change the code. Now I get a B0100 code (Electronic Front End Sensor 1 Performance).
