What causes gas to shoot out back of CARB?
My buddies 04 pred was warming up and just quit. when we tried to figure out what was wrong I noticed gas was shooting out the back of the carb. Just wondering how long it takes and whats involved in checkin out the key in the flywheel.
Where does the fuel line go in a weed eater?
Pull out about 1″ of fuel line from the fuel cap opening and attach filter. Replace the line back into the tank just like that because you want the fuel filter/line to flop around inside the tank. Now that same line goes from the tank to the bottom connector on the carb.

1 Answer A lot of gas coming out of the carb. overflow tube, eng on or off When the fuel is turned on gas starts coming out of the overflow tube. It doesn’t matter if the engine is running or not. The bike will start and run like there is nothing wrong. But, the gas is dripping severly out of that tube.

If the intake valves are tight, they are being held open a little- this could cause it to push air back through the carb. It did on mine, but my intake were way tight-barely run. i would als o have to say check the valves.
