What comes standard on a GMC Terrain?
The Terrain comes standard with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic and either front- or all-wheel drive. We haven’t tested one yet, but we put that engine through our testing regimen fitted to its mechanical twin, the Chevrolet Equinox; it took 8.9 seconds to reach 60 mph.

How does Service StabiliTrak work on GMC Terrain?
If you have a service StabiliTrak warning, your Terrain will no longer be assisted when a loss in lateral traction is detected. StabiliTrak is a GM specific vehicle stability system. It works by using a complex system of sensors to detect whether or not the vehicle is properly responding to your input in emergency situations.
How big does a GMC Terrain snowblower get?
We were right in the middle of the 8-12″ band of snow. Thanks to drifts, some parts of the road are bare, others are probably 18″. It always drifts at the bottom of my drive way and in front of the house. Parts for me were around 30″, or almost double the height of the snowblower. Cold weather. How is your battery?
Why is my traction control not working on my terrain?
Traction Control Not Working – Your Terrain’s traction control system mostly uses the same sensors to determine if a wheel has broken traction. Unlike StabiliTrak, which controls lateral issues (sliding), traction control keeps the wheels from unnecessary spinning.
