Is the side detetection system on my Yukon Denali?
I’ve had 2013 Suburban, 2016 Yukon Denali and now a 2019 Yukon Denali – never experienced this issue. Good luck with any class action resolution. I own a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali. I have a message upon start up that indicates “Service Side Detection System.”

How much does it cost to replace a GMC side detection system?
I took the vehicle into my dealership and waited four hours only to be told that this was a “nationwide” problem and the part was unavailable and on back order. I was also told that it would cost $800 to replace if/when the part was available.
