What to do if your Mack engine won’t start?
check the fuel cut off solenoid to see if it’s opening up all the way when the key is on…. could be choking off your fuel right there…. follow the little wire to the fuel pump….
What kind of engine does a Mack rd688 have?
I have a 2002 Mack RD688S with an E7 engine in it. When you turn the key on, it powers up and everything seems fine, but when you go to start it, it wont start. We changed the ECU with one that works, and we checked the VECU also transfer pump if it has one. been there done that…………… BMT Certified Know-It-All!
Why does my 94 Mack have no fuel?
94 Mack ch. 613. V max. 400. Just stopped have fuel come on the return line to tank did the filters checked the little fuel solenoid works good. Cracked the injections lines. But no fuel there. Dealer sent me a square block with a solenoid on it for 1200.
Why does my vision Mack 3007 show engine short?
G/day drover,my vision mack 3007 model always show engine short whenever the engine is hot and it drives fine before engine heat up.oil pump well, no water leakage. Pls help me out am getting frustrated.
Why does my E7 shut off on the road?
Got a truck with a 400 e7 Vmac 1. It will shut off going down the road like you turn the switch off. When it does shut off you can turn the key off and back on and it fires back up. Sometimes it takes a couple hours after the truck has been running before it starts acting up. Some days it doesn’t do it at all.
