What should carb settings be on Polaris trail boss 250?
Redid my 93 Trail Boss 250 2×4 took off the oil injection and am going with mix in the tank. Starts ok but doesn’t seem to have any guts on the get go, plus it won’t stay running at idle. My mix is 32:1 so I don’t think it’s starved for oil. Anybody got any ideas on initial carb settings.

The owners manual says to check the counter balance oil, and to top it off with 10/30. Only the manual just shows the drain plug and not the fill plug. I took a picture of what I believe is the fill, in the red circle about the pull start, but I wanted to confirm.

Replaced the needle and seat. Cleaned everything. Someone had worked on this carb previously and didn’t reinstall the spring for the pilot screw so they had it screwed all the way in so it wouldn’t walk out. (I could back it out and watch it unscrew itself with engine vibrations.)
