How does the front passenger door lock work?
Unlike the other three doors which has only two cable connections to the door lock actuator mechanism (one for the external door handle and one for the internal door handle and lock) the passenger side front has a third for the keyed door lock.
Can you open passenger side door with FOB in?
Walk to the other side of the car, nada (every time). Both fobs (new May, 2020). Doesn’t matter if the fob is in my pocket or in my hand, held right by the door handle. I’m sensing from the responses that there is no setting to allow one to lock out (or enable) passenger side opening.
