Why is traction control off on my Acadia?
Half way between here and there. Well I accomplished some system diagnostics today and have found the following: When driving for a few minutes the system trips the “service stabilitrak” message and that traction control is turned off.
How does service stabilitrac work on a GMC Acadia?
I was nearing home and was only about 2 miles from home when I heard the chimes and then the message flashed across the DIC… it went off momentarily and then reappeared with the ABS light as well however no CEL which I think is a good sign. I was dreading what was coming next like….loss of power but it drove fine.
Are there warning lights on my 2011 Acadia?
No warning lights or messages have come on in past few weeks. This Acadia btw is also a 2011, FWD model. If there is any information or updates I can provide, I will post them. Those same lights come on, on my 2008 Acadia, and it turned out to be the mass air flow sensor.
Why is my GMC Acadia still at the dealer?
I still have no answer for this elusive problem. Actually our Acadia is still at the dealer as several other issues came up: the same ABS/service traction and stabilitrak light, the electric cooling fans running continuously even when vehicle is cold such as on 1st start up of the day and a broken lumbar support function driver seat.
