Why is the vent selector not working on my Jeep Wrangler?
I had that problem and, upon removal of the HVAC assembly, noticed that there was a stick wedged into the cable system. Must have fallen through the dash or something… Mine is the same way. the switch is stuck in the vent/feet position and won’t turn at all.

Inspect the ball bearing plunger at the bottom of the switch. This gets jammed inside the switch. Try and give it a few bangs to release the jammed ball-bearing inside the switch.
