Why is the starter button on my car not working?
The power to the starter button could be interrupted anywhere between the battery and the button; since you have intermittent power issues around the fuse box, that could be the issue.
Why are the lights on but no electric start?
The light that came on was the engine oil light, but it was incredibly faint. Turn lights = no, electric start=no. Checked the battery and it was at 1.5volts. Figured it was a dead battery, but I tried to salvage by hooking up a 1.5a charger.
Where does the power to the start button Go?
Power to the start button goes from the key switch to the fuses, through a number of safeties (side stand/neutral relay, run/stop, clutch handle); the specifics would be in your wiring diagram. When you press the start button, you should get battery voltage at the wire to the starter relay, probably yellow with green stripe.
Why does my electric bike not start up?
When you press the start button, you should get battery voltage at the wire to the starter relay, probably yellow with green stripe. If you get no voltage, the various safeties, or an intermittent would be a likely problem. How old is this bike? Other issues due to age could be present, if it is old enough.
