Why is my door hard to close all of a sudden?
Factors like the changing of the weather and humidity can prevent a door from closing properly or cause it to stick in its frame. The wood of your door or door frame may also swell if water has been spilled on it recently. A door can even become warped or cracked if left closed and there is no room for it to expand.
What keeps a door closed?
Install 4-inch wood screws at an angle through the door and up into the frame. Hammer wooden wedges in the space between the door and the frame. If there is pneumatic door closure at the top of the door you can use a belt or another binding to so that it cannot open by binding the arm.
