Ahhh Arctic Cat 660 4Stroke wont start! So our 2003 Arctic Cat 660 Touring 4stroke will not start again…. heres the thing. We just got her serviced at the end of last year. New high-performance battery put in and everything checked out.

I am having battery problems with my 2005 Artic Cat T660 and hope someone can help as my sled keeps eating batteries. The second season I went to start my sled, the battery was dead. I thought maybe something was left on and went out and bought another battery.
How to check Arctic Cat T660 snowmobile ignition failure?
It should show a closed circuit in the run position idle and open in the stop position. Then test from the male to male plug. It should show closed with throttle off and open with throttle on. This is the most common Arctic Cat ignition failure area. I would also check each fuse with your meter set to DC voltage.
Why does my Arctic Cat starter kick out?
When the motor is warm and I start it, the starter will kick out once there is any kind of release in tension on the flex shaft. Not a big issue but it forces you to “bump” start the unit until is catches. I talked with the dealer and he says that is just the way an Arcti Cat is and replacing the starter would not accomplish anything.

Is there a 660 Trail 4 stroke snowmobile?
The 4-stroke runs strong, is quiet, does not burn oil, and gets better gas mileage. There was a 660 Touring for sale on eBay a month or two ago with 20,000 miles on it and only had minor repairs but was well maintained. Good luck and hope this helps.

What are the problems with a 6.0 liter power stroke engine?
