Why does my Yamaha F115 stall after 5min idling?
ISC is still running hot after 5min idling and is request is still around 65%. Then now the figures with ISC disconnected… if I disconnect the ISC and start the engine, the ECU drop to 32%… Is this normal? Last edited by BigKingy; 12-14-2017, 06:57 AM .

No announcement yet. I have intermittent stalling when going back to neutral from cruising and sometime the engine seems to idle not as regular as usual, more like wrom wrom wrom wrom (hard to explain)… Engine work really well except this issue.

Replacing the relay usually cures the problem. Another cause of stalling that is often overlooked is bad gas. Moisture sometimes finds its way into underground fuel tanks, and engines don’t run very well on water. Sometimes alcohol additives may not be properly mixed, or may separate from the gasoline in the presence of water.
What’s the ISC temp on a Yamaha F115?
-As suggested in another post by Rodbolt, I measured the temp of the ISC after running 5 cycle of stationary test with a IR gun it was 90F. BUT after I left the engine idling for 10min it reach 195F….

Why does my iboats engine stall after throttle back?
Anyway, the problem I had was with the mechanical fuel pump with the diaphragm sticking and causing fuel to leak into the crankcase. Once the fuel pump was changed, I no longer have the rough idle and stall after throttle back. I hope this helps you out a bit!
