Why does my Toyota Corolla shake at 60 mph?
My car does the same speed thing and few different mechanics told me I needed a CV joint, so I’m savin up the $ but right now I need a clutch. warped rotors/drums will cause vibration during any driving at those speeds. after I got mine machined it greatly lessened the vibration.
What kind of car shakes at 60 mph?
Not open for further replies. My sister has a ’97 Corolla DX (?) that shakes really bad over 60mph. The whole car kind of vibrates and it gets worse the faster you go. I told her to get the wheels balanced and make sure the alignment on the car was good but even after this the car still shakes.
Why does my Toyota Corolla vibrate while driving?
Definitely not normal. Usually when the steering vibrates at highway speed it’s your tires that need replacing. When it vibrates while braking then your brake pads need replacing. When the entire car shakes from idle, to acceleration, to idle and stop, it could be your transmission. A much bigger and more pricey problem.
Why does my Toyota Corolla have power pulses?
If power pulses are normally generated by your current calibration and level of emission data thru your computer. and it cannot be cancelled out mechanically, sometimes dampening methods are more successful. You need a tech who can understand this to verify, or eliminate, or explain the condition.
How to fix low idle vibration in Toyota?
Clean throttle body & plate, reset computer back to new settings by disconnecting battery. Hope this helps. true! I usually run it through the brake booster vacuum hose about every.30k or so… it’s easy if you have someone to hold the gas at about 2000rpm while you slowly pour the seafoam into the hose.
Why does my Toyota Corolla have a low idle?
My wife’s 2009 Corolla S has 107,000 miles. Early on it developed a low idle and vibration while stopped at a light. It was idling about 600 rpm after it warmed up. It never stalled but occasionally vibrated.
