Why does my Ski Doo renegade not start?
My 2007 600 ski-doo renegade won’t start. Its not getting any power. Put in a new fully charged battery and capacitor. There is still no power. Normally when you pull the rope you get 2 beeps and fuel goes in. Next pull the engine starts. Now there is nothing. You pull the rope and it’s totally dead. Submitted:7 years ago. When was the last time I started my Ski Doo?
Last time I started the sleds was Jan. or Feb. They have been sitting in an enclosed trailer and backed inside a building. I bought 2 identical sleds in Dec. and rode for a week. Never had any troubles. I have swaped batteries, a relay, fuses and selenoid from one sled to other and nothing.
What was the problem with my 600 SDI snowmobile?
A friend of mine had the same problem with his 05mxz 600sdi. This is what happened… He drove the sled to his trailer and filled up with oil and came back to the cottage. We all got ready and he went to pull his sled over and it wouldn’t go.

Can a Ski Doo Rev Renegade have two legs?
It is very possible with the 3 phase charging system on this sled to have two legs charging and one not. This will slowly draw the battery down, and the end result is what you have experienced.
