Why does my Lexus LC500 make a squeaking noise?
Not sure what we can do about slow parking sensors, that’ll require an update from Lexus and god knows when that’ll happen. Thing with the squeaking brakes is, there’s bound to be a bit of that when it comes to performance brakes and Porsche even released a whole video explaining why the brakes squeal.
Are there performance brakes on the Lexus LC500?
Not much you can do about the brakes even if you try switching to Brembo, at least everything else the LC500 comes up with more than makes up for the noise and the exceptional sound system should be enough to drown it out. Performance brakes are usually pretty noisy yeah, and I think they are manufactured in house for the LC.
What should I do if I hear a thumping noise on my brakes?
Do this three to five times, while keeping a steady speed; the noise should disappear, or at least be 90% gone. Then drive the car at normal speeds and use the brakes the way you normally would. If the noise has not changed, you may have a different thumping noise than what I have described here in this article.
Why does my Lexus car make a whining noise?
A whining sound coming from the engine bay is more than likely a worn out serpentine belt. Normally the sound will also get louder the higher the engine is revved due to the belt turning faster. A very easy way to diagnose the problem is to apply some belt dressing to the serpentine belt.
