Why are the fittings on my 134a not working?
The ’93 models came with R12, that’s why the fittings don’t work with your 134A. You’ll have to completely flush out the A/C system with some A/C flush, that’s supplied at the parts store. when you flush the system, make sure you flush in the opposite direction of flow.

The r-134a service ports on todays cars are industry standard sizes. the high side port is slightly larger than the low side so you can not hook them up in reverse.make sure your not trying to hook up to the high side port. low side ports are usually located on or near the drier. or in the larger diameter a/c line going to evaporator.
