The F56 doesn’t have a sport button (pre LCI). The circle at the base of the gear stick rotates to the left or right to switch to sport or green mode, respectively. It should be labelled. Its not standard on the Cooper S (not sure about the JCW) – its an optional extra called “Driving Modes”.
