Where is the fan on a 1999 V220 Ambiente?
Click to expand… I have a 1999 V220 Ambiente with same problem, fan sometimes works and comes on over speed bumps. I have located the motor, visible behind left hand dash vent, but can’t get at it to remove. Even when working it’s not powerful so needs replacing or new brushes, just need to remove it.

What to do if your Mercedes heater blower is not working?
My blower motor was fixed in with 3 posidrive screws. Had to use a stubby screwdriver on one of them too due to a serious lack of room. Check first before just pulling it out Rooty.
What to do if your air conditioner fan is not working?
beside the main unit, under the central console, are the actuator solenoids for air control. if its a suspected resistor problem, send it to the guy in hull who will fix it by return of post, quite cheaply. if the fan is connected to 12v directly (DON’T leave it connected or it will burn out) and it doesn’t work…. go to ebay for a replacement…
Is the heater on my 2000 Vito 108 working?
My heater in my 2000 vito 108 has been on blink for a few weeks now slowing down and stopping and when I go over a bump coming back on. It has only worked on nos.1 & 4 over the last 3 years but I learned to live with it.
