Remove the prop shaft – it will be siezed on every screw.

The thing that’s hugely different between the two is the price. Is it simply down to it being a ‘Jaguar’ part?

Changing the fuel pump on a 2001 Jaguar X Type 2.5 V6 Petrol Manual. Includes removing the seat, cutting the floor panel, removing the pump and changing the fuel sender. Not a job for the faint hearted but only takes two hours if you are clued up with good hand tools.
