The 2010 has many great features over the ’06. I like the power, shifting is right there – really no need for a tach. Mileage went from around 42 to over 50 after break in period. I like the new style handlebars over the older models, they pro vide miles of comfort. I am only 5′-6″ with boots on and am very comfortable with ride height.

How much should I lower my Softail on my V-twin?
I ride probably a little more aggressive than most and still scrape at stock ride height. I lowered my front about 2″ and the rear about 1″. It rides perfectly fine, no wobble, no cornering sway or pull; but I also take it a lot easier in the turns since I don’t want to scrape anything.
