Where can I find instrument approach procedures?
Note: Not all approach procedures include all of these segments. The instrument approach procedures are published in the AD section of the AIP. The arrival segment is described in the standard arrival (STAR) charts and the other segments are described in the instrument approach charts.
Where can I find TPP?
The d-TPP is published every 28 days and is available through the Terminal Procedures Search above or the Digital-Terminal Procedures Publication (Complete) (see below).
How long are approach plates good for?
They simply represent the print cycle of when that plate was last printed by the FAA. That is, even if a plate doesn’t change for two years, every 28 days, it will have a new set of dates on the side.
What does Vatsim do?
VATSIM provides a flight-simulation network that allows users to either fly online as pilots or direct traffic as air traffic controllers, producing an organic simulation of air traffic. Communications between pilots and controllers are carried out using integrated VoIP or in-game text messages.
What is a RF leg?
An RF leg is defined as a constant radius circular path, around a defined turn center, that starts and terminates at a fix. An RF leg may be published as part of a procedure.
Is the TPP in Foreflight?
TPP Supplement: In the traditional book format, the supplement to the Terminal Procedures Publication (TPP) appears at the beginning before all the actual arrival procedures and approach charts.
Where is runway slope Jeppesen?
To determine the runway slope, the run- way elevations at both ends can be used with the runway length that is shown adjacent to the runway symbol. Also, at each of the runway ends, the runway number is shown with the magnetic bearing down the centerline of the runway.
