When does a Jaguar air suspension fault occur?

When does a Jaguar air suspension fault occur?

The fault detection software checks how long the compressor has to run to charge the reservoir. If too long it flags up the message and puts C2303 into the fault log. It tends to happen when the weather gets colder, (why I’m not sure), but swapping out the compressor normally cures it as it did with me in 2010.

What causes an amber light on an XJ8?

I have a 2003 XJ8. The most common Air Suspension fault (Amber light/Air Suspension Fault message ) is often due to a slow build up of air pressure from a worn compressor. You can rebuild these for about £20 with an easily available piston…..I’ll try and find a link. I suspect the occasional noise may be unrelated, or worn bush etc.
