What to do if your ML350 Bluetec engine is leaking?
Disconnect all injector electrical connectors, disconnect injector return lines and observe injector return tube for fuel as engine is cranked. even small drops will cause long cranking. if you spot a leaking injector , replace it. Please check and let me know! Regards Pavlin!
When to change fuel filter on 2011 ML350 BlueTEC?
I am preparing to change the fuel filter out on my 2011 ML350 Bluetec. The manual calls for it to be changed out at 20K miles. In searching through the threads I only saw one thread that shows the procedure, but isn’t exactly as the 2011 models. Does anyone know the proper procedures for replacing the fuel filter?
Why does my Mercedes-Benz ml-350 not start?
2010, ML-350. Samething happening to me too. After driving for a while (30-40 miles) then I would stop at my mail box place or in front of the house. When I start again it won’t start. Engine would crank but won’t start. If I let it sit for a while 15-20 mins and it starts.Getting more frequent.
Are there any problems with the Mercedes BlueTec diesel?
The BlueTEC diesel is unlike any gas or diesel engine ever made. Even as Mercedes-Benz admits to diesel fraud in Federal Court, the problems keep coming. Mercedes-Benz admits it has been lying about the BlueTEC problems for over 10 years. Let that sink in.
Why is my ML350 BlueTEC not letting me start?
The problem began as a long crank/hard starting condition. The fuel filter was changed as it was thought to be the likely culprit but after this was done the vehicle was a 15 second crank w/no start resulting. I know this is not recommended but if I spray it with some starting fluid it will start & run.

What’s the fuel pressure on a Mercedes Benz?
A great and affordable gauge that we have used in the past is this Actron Fuel Pressure Gauge which works on Mercedes-Benz cars. Turn the engine off and connect this gauge to the Schrader valve test port shown in the picture below. Start the car and you should be able to get around 60 psi.
