I’ve honestly replaced this three times now with last one being a different brand and every time after awhile the humming noise comes back and turns into a this roaring noise. No grinding or high pitch squealing but just sound like I’m running on a very bad road.

What does the left front end of a Chevy Silverado sound like?
Left front axle. Sounds like the end attached to the differential. I don’t think it’s the CV – I’m familiar with the sound of failure from those on other vehicles. The sound is clearest at :38, 1:20, 2:00 and 3:49 in the video. I cut the engine a few times to eliminate that sound distraction but I’m afraid the wind noise interferes periodically.
