What kind of brace do I need for my Mustang?
Our X-braces are available for 2005-2014 Mustangs. Most designs replace your rear seats and is exposed in the cabin. However some versions bolt in behind the rear seats, in the trunk area, producing the same results.
Can a person ride in the rear seat?
Never let anyone ride in the cargo area or in the passenger rear seat if it is folded down. This can lead to serious injuries in an accident. Make sure the seat back locks into position when you close the access point.
Where is the drain hole behind the drivers seat?
1. Drain holes underneath, which can be cleared with a wire coathanger or similar – see picture. One on each side about a foot in from the rear wheel. 2. There is a flap of material attached to the outer fabric top, directly behind the rear quarter window, beside the back of the rear seat. Lift up the inner fabric top to get to it.
What kind of body does a Mustang have?
Mustangs use what is called a uni-body design. This means the frame and body is a single combined unit. In a uni-body vehicle the floor pan (the metal underside of the vehicle) is an integral part of the main structure to which all the mechanical components are attached.
How do you remove the front seat from a Mustang?
In order to prepare your Mustang, you’ll want to disconnect your battery. This will keep the battery from running down while the interior light is on. You will then jack up the car and install jack stands. All coupe, convertible, and fastback models will have an identical method for removing the front seat.

Is it possible to reupholster a classic Mustang seat?
In terms of reupholstering classic Mustangs, there are really three options. Restoring to true stock, creating a restomod that looks restored but has modern features, or simply replacing the seats with modern ones. All three of these paths have a significant number of pros and cons.
