How do you get special consideration UWA?

What is my UWA email address?
Your email address will be in the format of: [email protected]. By default, the display name of your email will display to all students and staff as your firstname & lastname followed by your student number in brackets, e.g. “Sam Citizen (12345678)”.
What happens if you miss an exam UWA?
If you have misread the timetable and miss your scheduled exam you will not be able to sit the exam in the next examination session. Eligibility for a deferred examination is assessed in accordance with the University Policy on Special Consideration by your Student Advising Office.
What happens if you fail a unit UWA?
If you have failed a unit you will need to adjust your study plan to complete your course. This may extend the time needed to complete your course or you may be able to make up the failed unit by taking a unit during the UWA Summer School or another non-standard teaching period.

Go to Pheme and follow the prompts to activate your Pheme account. During the activation process you will be asked if you wish to activate your HDR email alias. You can elect to activate your HDR email alias at a later time by selecting “No, I don’t want to use HDR Email Address”.
Do masters students sit exams?

University General Rule 1.2. 1.28 states that students who fail a unit twice are not permitted to enrol again in that unit unless the School approves otherwise.
Can you repeat a unit UWA?
Repeating units (1) Unless the relevant faculty or board decides that there are sound academic reasons for a student to do so, the student must not enrol in a unit with the same content, or substantially the same content, as the content of a unit that they have previously passed or had credited towards their course.

- Sign in to your UWA Student Email via the webmail.
- Click on the cog icon at the top right corner of the mailbox and choose ‘Settings’ from the drop down menu.
- Click ‘Forwarding and POP/IMAP’.
- Select ‘Enable IMAP’.
- Select ‘Save Changes’.
