Could be the placebo effect. Usually if you remove an O2 sensor the UCU goes into open-loop, table-drive, conservative fuel and advance mode, and the engine will be down 30 to 60% in power. How about you put the O2 sensor back in?
Is the pre-Cat O2 sensor on my car faulty?
