The AC controls don’t work the whole unit is off, nothing works, defrost, front and rear, heat or air does not work. The radio works, but nothing else. Display lights for heat/AC and radio went out. Radio and CD player continued to operate for awhile, now they have ceased to function. Radio backlight is out.

You will need to remove the panel on the dash, and remove the climate control unit, and check the bulbs. How many bulbs would there be? At 6,500 miles I wouldn’t expect anything like that yet.

Are there any issues with the Honda Accord?
It is one convoluted bureaucracy where their lack of knowledge is only overshadowed by the gall in which they espouse their ridiculous wisdom. The only issues I had with the car during the first 2 years or so were merely inherent in the design of the car: the Terrible ‘deluxe’ audio system sound and the CVT transmission’s idiosyncrasies.

Can a Honda Accord radio panel be replaced?
There is a Product update for those accords, the internal circuit board fails and you need to go to the dealership to have them put a new updated board in, i believe there is an extended warranty on those and it should be covered, these can only be replaced under customer complaint though, you can’t have them replaced to prevent this from hapening,
