What does FM1 and FM2 mean?
The idea is that you can set each button to a different station that you like to listen to, so that when you press FM1, the radio is set the the first station, and you can switch to the second station you like by pressing FM2.

A bit of time (maybe 90 minutes removal, soldering and re-install) and a bit of solder added to a series of resistors on the circuit board and her radio display lights up again. Found the problem. The #4 fuse under the hood, labelled “small lights”.

More than likely, burnt out bulbs are the culprit. There is a possibility that there is another failure somewhere in the circuit, but it is not as likely as burnt out bulbs. You will need to remove the panel on the dash, and remove the climate control unit, and check the bulbs.

Your car contains what is called smart amp. If one of the speaker is grounding out, it turns off all speakers. First I would disconnect the two back speakers and see if the audio comes back. Take out each speaker and see if audio comes back. Tell me, is the “volume control coming on after 10 seconds” normal or has it been a recent phenomena?
