What can I do at a NV DMV kiosk?
DMV Now kiosks can help you with:
- Completing your vehicle registration renewal.
- File for planned nonoperation (PNO) status.
- Pay a vehicle registration suspension reinstatement fee.
- Submit an affidavit of non-use (ANU)
- Remove an ANU.
- Submit proof of insurance when requested by the Vehicle Insurance Program.
Is NV DMV taking walk ins?
We are serving only customers with appointments for most transactions at our offices in Carson City, Henderson, Las Vegas and Reno. Walk-in services are limited to general information and document review, kiosks, movement permits, plate surrenders and VIN inspections.

You can renew at a kiosk any time, starting in the month prior to your expiration month. By law, a late fee of $25 per month and back ownership taxes will be assessed if you renew after your grace period (the month following your date of expiration) has expired.
