What can cause a quad not to start?
These are the main reason why an ATV will not start:
- The ATV is not getting a spark or is only getting a weak spark.
- The ATV is not getting fuel.
- The ATV is not getting enough air.
- The battery is bad or not charged.
- The kill switch is bad or corroded.

Where is the start button on a Honda rancher?
When the start button is pressed .. All I get is clicking under the seat in the battery area.. The battery is fully charged and all connections are tight.. Sometimes it starts with the button though !!!!

It is most likely not the solenoid if it was bad you would not here the clicking the clicking is the starter solenoid working. If cleaning your battery terminals doesn’t work take your battery to an auto parts store and get it tested.
