Should carburetor float have gas in it?
Hold a float next to your ear and shake it. If you hear gas inside, the float has an obvious leak. A stream of bubbles will also indicate a leak. Leaking and gas-saturated floats must be replaced or repaired.

Why is my Foreman 500 carburetor leaking gas?
So my 2005 foreman 500 is dripping gas from the carb overflow. I have changed the float and the needle valve and cleaned all the jets and seals are good. All the air vents are free. Short of replacing the entire carburetor can anyone reccommend something else to try.
