What happened to TrackR?
TrackR is rebranding to Adero as it looks beyond small devices to track lost items. TrackR is launching a new brand, Adero, and sources say it is widening its focus to other uses for its tracking technology, taking TrackR beyond the circular Bluetooth fobs that form the core of its service today.
Is the TrackR app free?

Is TrackR or tile better?
Tile and TrackR are both good choices when it comes to devices that would help you find lost keys and lost anything. However, Tile has really good design, has less purchase price, and wider Bluetooth range than TrackR. Tile is also waterproof and much louder than TrackR.
Can you use TrackR to track a car?
We strongly discourage the use of TrackR on cars, pets or people. TrackR uses Bluetooth technology to connect your items to the TrackR app on your phone and does not use live GPS technology. Once the TrackR is outside of Bluetooth range of a user’s phone, the TrackR app will show the Last Seen location of the TrackR.

Will TrackR find my car?
Using a TrackR to locate their parked vehicle works through our Last Seen feature. When you park your car and walk away from it, the TrackR app will show the Last Seen location, representing when your TrackR and phone were connected. It will show a time stamp as well as the location in the app.

The TrackR Bravo has a one year battery life with a replaceable CR1616 battery. It is water resistant, but there’s an option to purchase an accessory pack for a waterproof enclosure.
