Is the remote on my Jeep Grand Cherokee working?
Have a 2017 Grand Cherokee and it works fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the response. Remote commands do work, but only within 1 hour of the vehicle being shut off. After that everything fails. If I open the door everything seems to wakeup and will work for another hour.
Why does my Jeep say remote start disabled?
To try to troubleshoot, have tried to remote start when within visual range. What I have found is that it starts for less than a second, then shuts off. I get a message on the dash saying “remote start disabled”.

The Uconnect system worked perfect during the first year of ownership. I renewed the subscription for a second year and had problems ever since.
