Is the remote locking on a Jaguar XF working?
Jaguar XF Remote locking/central locking not working with both keys. Changed batteries as well but still no luck. Not able to lock the car with the fob. Any help is highly appreciated.

You can hear a locking sound at the fuel filler door but none of the doors actually lock and the mirrors do not fold back.

How to fix central locking problem on 2013 XF portfolio?
The ground [negative] cable was connected first and on immediately on connecting the positive cable to the battery the car Alarm sounded and the radio came on. I stopped the alarm by pushing the unlock button on the key fob and turned off the radio. I then sat in the car and reset the parking brake, the window up/down travel and adjusted the clock.
