Is the Honda Shadow Ace 750 a good bike?
Yes I’ve not owned long but could be the best value per dollar except the Norton I bought for 500 dollars and sold for 1000, it will cruise comfortable on the interstate at 70 or instill confidence in the twisties, maint cost very low reliable won’t leave you stranded, love the bike my 25th 50 years of riding. How many miles does a Honda Shadow Ace run?
After a hair over 14k miles she still rides like a trooper! Let’s see, ran off the road and glanced off of a barrier, had a t-shirt get rolled up in the chain/sprocket, ran almost 800 miles in almost 100 degree heat with hardly a drop of oil (stuck in the boonies and didn’t bring extra oil)…all this and she STILL rocked on.

Nope…the 750 ACE has a single pin crank just as the 1100 did. They sh*t and git faster than the Aero/Spirit shaft driven models as well. Click to expand… BS. They are both slow.

I have a 2003 750 ace, it is chain drive (I was able to change out my rear sprocket to lower my rpm’s), fatter front tire, bigger fenders, two carbs (you have one I think) that is just a few things that come to mind. The biggest difference is that the ACE has a single pin crank.
