Is a 2004 Subaru WRX a good first car?

Is a 2004 Subaru WRX a good first car?

You should not own a WRX as a first car. I did some stupid **** in my first couple cars and if I had the horsepower of a WRX I would be dead. Find something with less than 150hp as a first car, and then in 2 years get a WRX or a STI. Your driving skill will be much better at that point.

Is a WRX a bad first car?

No, the base Impreza is a good first car though. Sports cars pretty much should never be anyone’s first car. That much accerlation and speed is unneeded and dangerous for a first time driver.

Is there a problem with my Subaru Impreza?

Subaru Overheating!!!!!! Right I have a problem with my impreza (2003 blob eye with 59k miles on clock), there seems to be an intermittent over heating problem. It started when we had severe snow/icey weather, the car was working fine but all of a sudden the temp guage jumped to just under the red.

How much does a 2004 Subaru WRX STI cost?

That’s crazy. And it’s not just crazy how little the car depreciates initially, but how little it depreciates over time. Yes, a 2004 model has depreciated to “just” $17,245, but here’s something to keep in mind: The 2004 STI started at just $32,000!

Why does the Subaru STi have so much value?

The reasons the STI keeps its value so well are twofold. One is, of course, the car’s limited production: Even if it makes sense to you to go into your local Subaru dealership and buy one of these things, you may not be able to get one right away — and when new models come out, you’ll likely have trouble getting one without a dealer markup.

What should I do if my Subaru overheats?

KEEP YOUR FINGERS SAFE. The fans can come on at any time, the belts are spinning, and stuff is hot, so be careful. At some point, maybe after 5 minutes, maybe after 20 or more, the thermostat should open, and you should see circulation. Top off again.

Why does my Subaru heater blow cold air?

Anyway ever since then it was working fine no issues, then again just recently the car over heated after putting my foot down and the heaters inside the car blew cold air. But as i let it cool and then drove off slowly the heaters kicked in and the temp stayed normal until i got home, no issues.
